Damn, been a few days since the last post!
It’s been hard to sit down and write, between life and Voodies there’s a lot going on.
As I said before, we have 5 artists working with us. Some are still finishing their booked orders to start doing their assigned roles. 3 are active and it’s a lot of activity to keep in touch and direct where our design is going. They all have different work methods, for example one of them likes to draw before starting to get a better picture of what she is doing (image 1, she is making a mimic chest). Another artist like to make iterations, so she makes a prototype and then start all over again to perfect it. It’s crazy, I know. And we are communicating all the time talking about colors, sizes, materials and so on. I’ve been so much into it and learned so much that I want to start doing amigurumis as a hobby!
Every artist work on a certain methodology and they have their own habit and my job is to adapt myself to their routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. The goal is not fast production, it’s the highest quality possible.
