Yesterday I was diving into value and why would I buy an NFT.
Of course, the main reason is being able to turn it into profit. But how do you measure that before aping a project? Art: the first impact. I would avoid something hideous, for my taste, even if it was highly hyped. NFTs are literally avatars, and because of that people manifest emotions towards those images. A coin is just numbers, an NFT is way more than that. Community: it doesn’t matter if Picasso made a collection, if there isn’t a community around it, there is no chance of profiting on secondary market.
So, IMHO, those are the two main factors that can drive a well succeed project. Well, to make a good art you need a good artist. But what about a good community?
Value. That’s on my head since day one. There are many ways to create value. Do you know Heaven.Computer? It is an incredible project that stealth launched without a discord and turned into a cult. Their main value was the nostalgic and fun website, that mimics Win95; The generative art process, result of your past wallet transactions; and its developer and founder, a charismatic brazilian girl.
There’s no written recipe. There are many flops that tried the obvious: charity, merchandise, giveaways, etc etc. I am not saying these actions are useless, it’s just not a guaranteed formula.
Ok, I should make a Medium ASAP, I don’t want to overextend this. I am studying this environment very carefully and I am cooking some interesting stuff for this community. My goal is to bring value.
TLDR: and the KEYS are alive. I am super excited to expand on this!
